Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"excellent pinoy food. the combos are the best, great pricing for big portions (frequently over a pound in my experiece). very friendly staff, inviting of people of different backgrounds. good grocery options. they even have karaoke if i'm not mistaken!"
"Great food. A little pricey (most restaurants have gone up) but highly recommended. The Pork Adobo was super tasty and the meat just melted in my mouth."
"Absolutely amazing! First time here and the food was great! Employees were so kind and helpful. I also love the fact they have a little grocery store. We will be returning. Thank you!"
"I’ve tried a number of Filipino restaurants in the tri-state and I must say that this place hit the trifecta of kind staff, delicious food and clean atmosphere. I went to Tropical Hut to grab lunch takeout. The selections of authentic Filipino food were great! On this visit, I got the papaitan and sinigang. The sinigang had the right amount of sourness from the tamarind and the large cubes of pork were tender. The papaitan was nice and bitter and had a great mix of liver, tripe and organ meat you were expect in the stew. I would be remiss to not mention how super friendly the staff was! I will definitely be revisiting this location whenever I’m working in the office."
"It had a great buffet to buy from, and the friendly server suggested that I sample the options before taking food out. It helped, and I got the best of it."
"They have very delicious and authentic Filipino food. The service is amazing of course!"
"The cashier was very nice, she didn't have much vegetarian selections but at least she had fish. She also gave me extra eggs. The Milkfish was so delicious n the garlic rice had so much flavor. I will definitely come back because it is worth the price."
"Placed a large catering order (23 trays) with Tropical Hut and it was a hit! Received many compliments on the food. Lots of veggie options and the desserts were great too. Some personal favorites are the Chicken Adobo, Lechon Paksiw and Pandan Biko. The staff are lovely and kind. Highly recommend Tropical Hut for yourself or for a group!"
